Features.
Propellerhead Reason Version enables you to be able to create REX files directly in Reason without the need to use the external ReCycle application, making the creation of tempo independent files easy and fast. Reason also boast a much requested Midi-out feature, so for the first time you can now control your old hardware synths with Reason and integrate them into your Reason compositions. The new spectrum analyzer helps you visualise each element of your composition – making it easier to mix. Speaking of mixing, Reason also now supports bus channels, so you can group together tracks in the mixer for separate processing. The new Audiomatic Retro Transformer plug-in also comes with the latest version. This plug-in has a series of presets, which add colour, grit and a vintage quality to your tracks.

Reason and Reason Essentials comes with the new Rack Extension SDK 2 installed. The new SDK allows for a new generation of Rack Extensions with vastly improved display capabilities.
