NAB 2022 (National Association of Broadcasters) is taking place in Las Vegas April 23-27, 2022. NAB along with Siggraph in the Summer are the two major conventions for the VFX and motion graphics industry. It’s where we’ll find out what new and exciting technology is about to be released by companies in the VFX industry.
NAB is a huge conference with attendees from over 160 countries. As a result of this huge audience, software and hardware manufacturers in the video and broadcast industry tend to announce their new products as well as offering substantial discounts with a NAB sale while the conference is taking place.
If you’re a VFX or motion graphics artist, NAB sales are a prime time to get a great deal on 3D software, After Effects plugins or Premiere/Final Cut plugins. There probably won’t be another substantial sale again until November with Black Friday sales.
