John at Motionworks, recently set a challenge to create an interesting looking composition using Trapcode Mir. Mir is the latest plug-in from Peder Norrby, the genius programmer behind all the Trapcode products. The great thing about Mir is that it allows you to experiment in pretty much real time, avoiding the laborious process of changing a parameter and having to wait for the render. This is because like Element 3D, it’s GPU based allowing much faster rendering using your graphics card.
