trapcode particular inspiration

A couple of years ago I came across an impressive piece of audio animated particle work using Trapcode Particular & Trapcode Sound Keys.

The piece was created by Mohamed Oumoumad, a freelance motion graphics designer from Morocco. What makes the piece so compelling is how Mohamed has managed to capture the fluid animation of the particles and sync them perfectly with the music, creating an emotional connection with the viewer. That along with his excellent music choice, colour scheme and hours of experimentation with the Trapcode plug-ins has resulted in over 600,000 views of the video on YouTube.

In response to the massive popularity of the video Mohamed has kindly created two tutorial videos outlining his creative process in creating the animation. You’ll need a copy of both Trapcode Particular and Sound Keys to follow along. You can download a trial version of both plug-ins from Maxon.
