TRAPCODE MIR EXPERIMENT

To create this effect I used two instances of Trapcode Mir – one for the metallic wire effect, the other for the transparent mesh effect. In order to add interest to the geometry I painted a custom texture in Photoshop and added it into the texture slot on both instances of Mir. I then animated the Repeater and Amplitude settings in Mir to create the animation.

To add a depth of field effect, I used a masked adjustment layer with the Camera Lens Blur effect.

Finally, I used Red Giant UNIVERSE’s Diffuse Glow for the bloom effect. Magic Bullet Film and Curves were used for the colour correction and to give a more cinematic look.
